An exciting one-day silver jewellery workshop, creating your own unique botanical-inspired jewellery. Using Melinda's collection of various template - including leaves - make a beautiful pendant with a matching pair of earrings based upon botanical impiration if you wish - or use another of Melinda's many templates.
If you prefer a different design ... other shapes and styles will be be available.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some jewellery-making experience, this hands-on workshop is guided by Melinda every step of the way. You'll have access to all the professional tools and equipment used in a traditional silver jewellery studio.

Melinda, will guide you through the process of designing your rings and show you how to use the workshop tools with systematic demonstrations
You will learn the basic techniques of soldering, surface textures and how to get a nice professional finish to ensure that your three rings will sit together well if required. This is quite an intensive day, but by the end of it you will be able to leave with a set of 3 different rings that you yourself have designed and made.

An inspiring two day Stained Glass course with Lizzie Hippisley-Cox
Working with coloured, clear and textured glass, Lizzie will show you how to safely handle, cut and to 'lead up' a small square panel (approx 200mm or 8" ) All glass, tools and equipment are provided. Traditionally, stained glass windows are associated with cathedrals and churches but these days it is also used in homes for decoration.

New for 2026 - we're delighted to welcome Mark back to Greystoke, and this time offering short taster courses of animal Sculpture in Stoneware - choose from either a Hare bust (AM) or a Little Owl (PM).
Mark will guide you through the various processes involved in creating your sculpture. Each will be unique with its own character and expression. The Hare bust is approx 6"tall, as is the Little Owl which after firing, will be perched on a small wood log. .
